New Delhi/Dehradun, Sep 15 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended heartfelt birthday greetings to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami through a formal letter, wishing him good health, happiness and long life.
In the letter dated on Monday, the Prime Minister said, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the auspicious occasion of your birthday on September 16. May God grant you excellent health, happiness and long life.”
Highlighting CM Dhami’s contributions, PM Modi said, “May the excellent work being done by you in the interest of the nation and society fill your life with success and glory. May the state, through your experience, dedication and foresight, continue to advance on the path of progress and achieve new heights.”
The Prime Minister also noted the national context, saying that the country is progressing towards building a developed India with the resolve of ‘Shakti ki Sashaktata’.
He emphasised that efforts to give new dimensions to the hill state’s capacity, resources and people’s power are crucial, adding: “Your (Pushkar Singh Dhami’s) active contribution will play an important role in this direction.”
Concluding the letter, PM Modi once again conveyed his warm wishes, saying, “Once again, many many best wishes on your birthday.”
Pushkar Singh Dhami, who has been serving as the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, will turn a year older on September 16.
Known for his focus on infrastructure development, seamless management of the Char Dham Yatra, strengthening of road networks, and prompt public grievance redressal through the CM Helpline, CM Dhami has prioritised connecting remote areas and improving governance delivery across the hill state.
The Prime Minister’s personal message showcases the recognition of Chief Minister Dhami’s work in the state’s development and his contribution to the broader national vision of a developed India.
