Hanur’s Manasa Educational Institution marks 30 years with mega job fair on August 22

Chamarajanagar: Marking the completion of 30 years of Manasa Educational Institution, Manasa Educational Institution and Manasa Foundation will organise a mega job fair at Gauri Shankar Kalyana Mantapa in Hanur on August 22, its secretary Dr. Dattatesh Kumar said.

Addressing a press conference in Hanur, Kumar said the job fair aims to provide employment opportunities to unemployed and job-seeking youth from Hanur and surrounding areas.

He recalled that the previous job fair, held at Ambedkar Bhavan in Hanur in 2019, saw participation from around 84 companies and nearly 1,800 job aspirants. Appointment letters were issued on the spot to around 720 candidates.

He urged unemployed youth from the taluk to participate in large numbers and make use of the employment opportunities offered by participating companies.

The institution is also planning to organise major health camps in Kollegal and Hanur in the coming days. Doctors and hospitals are being approached to participate in the proposed camps, Kumar said.

The August 22 programme will be held in the presence of Salur Math’s presiding priest Shantamallikarjunaswamyji. Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti and Railways V. Somanna will inaugurate the event, while MLA M.R. Manjunath and BJP state vice-president N. Mahesh will be among the chief guests. Dr. Dattatesh Kumar will preside over the programme.
