Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Merry Christmas’ Shows Improved Box Office Performance on Day 2

Sriram Raghavan’s film ‘Merry Christmas,’ featuring Vijay Sethipathi and Katrina Kaif, released in theaters on January 12 to a slow start but has witnessed a notable improvement on its second day.

On Day 2, the film demonstrated increased momentum, with early estimates indicating a collection of Rs 3.50 crores compared to Rs 2.55 crores on Day 1. This brings the total collection to approximately Rs 6.05 crores.

The film, shot simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil, exhibited an 18.15 percent occupancy in Hindi and a 26.48 percent occupancy in Tamil on its opening day. Despite its initial slow start, ‘Merry Christmas’ is described as a thriller that deviates from the conventional and promises a unique cinematic experience.
