Mumbai, June 27 (IANS) Popular television actress Shrenu Parikh compiled a nostalgic post on her official social media handle as her beloved television show ‘Ishqbaaaz’ clocked 10 years of release on Saturday.
Recalling her shoot days, she shared how they used to shoot 15-minute-long scenes in a single go. She further gave a shout-out to her ‘dream team’ who used to eat lunch together on the set.
Taking a trip down memory lane, Shrenu wrote on the photo-sharing app, “Just whilst compiling these memories I realised even after a decade I would go back to this in a blink of an eye! 10 years of Ishqbaaaz…(sic)”
“It was a dream team, a dream show for us! We’ve taken so many memories , lessons, love from this show that even after a decade it feels like yesterday we had just started shooting for it! Used to love going on sets, shooting 15 mins long “one shots” , changing looks in a day, twinning in the best outfits looking our best, lunching together to packing up early… we have had so much fun!!!,” she went on to add.
Shrenu ended the post on an emotional note, saying, “Nostalgia ko Zara Bolo itna bhi na aaye. Gauri Kumari Sharma urf chulbul aaj bahut yaad aa rahi hai koi ek jhaanp mein sata do…”
‘Ishqbaaaz’ aired from 27 June 2016 to 15 March 2019 on Star Plus. Along with Shrenu, the core cast of the drama included Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chandna, Kunal Jaisingh, Shrenu Parikh, Leenesh Mattoo, and Mansi Srivastava, along with others.
Back in December 2018, the show came back with a new season and a generational leap. Named ‘Ishqbaaz: Pyaar Ki Ek Dhinchak Kahaani’, the season featured Nakuul Mehta and Niti Taylor.
Created by Gul Khan, the show has been directed by Lalit Mohan.
