Sachin Pilot Advocates Youth Inclusion in Lok Sabha Elections

Jaipur: Congress leader Sachin Pilot expressed his stance on Saturday, emphasizing the importance of providing opportunities for young party workers with a clean image to contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan.

Pilot stated, “I have urged the party leadership to allow new faces with a clean image and a background of grassroots work to participate in the elections. Rahul Gandhi ji and Kharge ji share the same sentiment. It’s crucial to offer a chance to the aware, dedicated, and grassroots-level workers from the younger generation. This will send a positive message across Rajasthan.”

He further elaborated, “During the Congress’ screening committee meeting held in New Delhi, discussions were held regarding all 25 seats in Rajasthan for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Input was gathered from various stakeholders, including the State Election Committee, AICC observers, and workers’ sentiments.”
