Making the announcement on Saturday morning via Instagram, Priyanka shared a screenshot of an article without adding any caption, but including a quote by Mark Twain on pirates. The quote read, “Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates. -Mark Twain.” Priyanka further shared the post on her Instagram Stories, accompanied by red heart and folded hands emojis.
Re-posting the announcement on his Instagram, Priyanka’s husband, singer Nick Jonas, tagged her and added fire emojis to express his excitement. Fans also flooded the comments section with enthusiasm and support.
