Prabhu Deva Joins Second Schedule of Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Kannappa’ in New Zealand

Renowned choreographer-director Prabhu Deva, known for his iconic dance sequences in Indian cinema, has embarked on the second schedule of Vishnu Manchu’s upcoming film ‘Kannappa’ in New Zealand.

Prabhu Deva’s involvement in the project extends to choreographing the film’s dance sequences, adding his signature touch to the visual spectacle.

With a rich original soundtrack comprising close to nine songs, ‘Kannappa’ promises to be a musical extravaganza that celebrates the fusion of traditional and contemporary elements.

Expressing his excitement about collaborating with the legendary choreographer, Vishnu Manchu remarked, “Working with Prabhu Deva is an honor and a dream come true. His art seamlessly blends eastern and western influences, preserving tradition while infusing it with a modern twist.”

‘Kannappa’ is centered around the legendary figure of Kannappa, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva and one of the revered 63 ‘Nayanars’, believed to be an incarnation of Arjuna himself. Vishnu Manchu not only directs the film but also portrays the titular character.
