PM Modi offers prayers at submerged Dwarka city

Dwarka: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a profound journey on Sunday, venturing into the depths of the sea to pay homage to the submerged remnants of Dwarka. Dwarka, an ancient city deeply intertwined with the lore of Lord Krishna, stands as a testament to India’s historical richness and spiritual essence.

PM Modi’s expedition to the underwater ruins of Dwarka transcended mere exploration; it carried profound significance. Amidst the submerged relics, he offered prayers and reverence, symbolizing the enduring connection between the land and its spiritual heritage. Presenting peacock feathers as a mark of respect, he honored Lord Krishna, whose presence permeates the city’s essence.

Beyond this spiritual pilgrimage, Prime Minister Modi’s itinerary is marked by a commitment to progress. He is poised to inaugurate projects valued at Rs 48,000 crore, spanning crucial sectors such as healthcare, infrastructure, energy, and transportation. Among these initiatives is the unveiling of Gujarat’s inaugural All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rajkot, alongside virtual inaugurations of AIIMS facilities in Mangalagiri, Bathinda, Rae Bareli, and Kalyani.
