PM distributing appointment letter in installments? Kharge hits out at Centre

New Delhi: Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the BJP-led Central government, accusing them of failing to fulfill their promise of generating two crore jobs annually. Kharge’s remarks came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed and distributed appointment letters to candidates recruited through the Centre’s ‘Rozgar Mela’ via video conferencing.

Kharge slammed the government, stating that approximately 20,000 MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) industries have closed down in the country over the past three years. He also pointed out that there are more than 30 lakh vacant positions in various government departments. Despite these challenges, he accused the government of presenting the distribution of appointment letters in installments as if it fulfills their promise of creating two crore jobs every year.

The Congress leader further criticized the government’s policies, asserting that government-sanctioned posts should have been filled long ago. He cited programs like Start-Up India, Skill India, and Stand-Up India, which were organized as events but did not address the struggles faced by lakhs of MSMEs due to what he described as the Modi government’s wrong policies.

Kharge raised concerns about the increasing unemployment rate and the impact on the future of millions of youth. He called for the youth of the country to unite and demand change from what he referred to as an anti-youth government. In conclusion, Kharge expressed his belief in India’s strength to overcome challenges and succeed if the government addresses the pressing issues related to unemployment and job creation.
