Palestinian Death Toll in Gaza Climbs as Israeli Attacks Continue

Gaza: The Palestinian death toll in Gaza has tragically risen to 30,960, with an additional 72,524 individuals wounded, as reported by the Hamas-run Health Ministry. Over the last 24 hours alone, 82 Palestinians were killed and 122 others wounded by Israeli military actions.

Amid relentless bombardment, rescue efforts face immense challenges, with some victims still trapped under rubble due to the lack of civil defense and ambulance crews. Most of the casualties are children and women, with at least 23 people killed in intense airstrikes targeting residential areas in Khan Younis and Rafah.

The escalation in violence comes as Israel pursues a large-scale offensive against Hamas in response to previous attacks, including a Hamas incursion into southern Israeli territory in October 2023, resulting in significant casualties and hostages.
