Nothing will change in Telangana with the Congresscoming to power in place of BRS: Modi

Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made scathing remarks on Monday, asserting that there will be no substantial change in Telangana with the Congress party assuming power from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

Addressing a public gathering in a town bordering Maharashtra, Modi accused both the Congress and BRS of being indistinguishable, suggesting that the transition of power from Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to BRS had yielded minimal impact. Consequently, he predicted a similar outcome with the Congress’ ascent to power.

Modi’s speech marked his first public appearance in Telangana since the Congress took office in December of the previous year. He emphasized that despite different faces at the helm, family-centric politics remained pervasive, with deceit and corruption being common traits.

Highlighting alleged scams during BRS’s tenure, such as the Kaleshwaram project, Modi criticized the Congress government for purportedly neglecting to address these issues adequately.
