NIA Arrests Prime Accused in BJP Yuva Morcha Leader Praveen Nettaru Murder Case

Bengaluru: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has made a significant breakthrough in the case of the 2022 murder of BJP Yuva Morcha worker Praveen Nettaru in Bengaluru. Mustafa Paichar, identified as the prime accused in the case, has been apprehended by NIA officials from his hideout in Karnataka, according to sources.

Praveen Nettaru fell victim to a brutal attack by two assailants on motorcycles on July 26, 2022, in Bellare village of Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka. The perpetrators, allegedly affiliated with the Popular Front of India (PFI), were responsible for his untimely demise. Subsequently, in September of the same year, the PFI was banned.

Initially filed at the Bellare police station, the case was later transferred to the NIA for further investigation. With the arrest of Mustafa Paichar, authorities are making strides towards achieving justice for the tragic loss of Praveen Nettaru.
