Karnataka Home Minister Counters BJP’s Claims on Kar Sevak’s Arrest, Denies 16 Cases

Bengaluru: Karnataka’s Home Minister, G. Parameshwara, responded to BJP’s criticism regarding the arrest of Kar Sevak Srikanth Poojari, refuting claims that Poojari is currently facing 16 cases. Parameshwara clarified, “There were 16 cases registered against Poojari, but I have never said that he is facing 16 cases now.”

Parameshwara accused the BJP of spreading false propaganda against the Kar Sevak, questioning the party’s extensive protest for someone involved in crime cases. He emphasized that the court had examined 26 cases, including Poojari’s, and questioned the need for such a protest.
