Delhi Shivers at 6.8°C, Below Seasonal Average

New Delhi: On Monday, the national capital experienced a chilly start with the minimum temperature recorded at 6.8 degrees Celsius, which is two notches below the seasonal average, as reported by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The IMD’s forecast for the day indicates that the maximum temperature is anticipated to hover around 21 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is expected to be around 7 degrees Celsius. The weather conditions are forecasted to feature a partly cloudy sky and shallow fog.

At 5:30 am, the visibility levels were reported as follows: Delhi – Palam: 200 meters, Safdarjung: 500 meters; Punjab – Patiala: 200 meters, Amritsar: 500 meters; Rajasthan – Ganganagar, Jaipur: 500 meters each; Uttar Pradesh – Bareilly, Bahraich, Gorakhpur: 25 meters each.
