Delhi Records Minimum Temperature of 13.1 Degrees Celsius

New Delhi: The national capital, Delhi, experienced a minimum temperature of 13.1 degrees Celsius on Monday, slightly below the seasonal average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

IMD forecasts indicate that the maximum temperature for Monday is expected to reach around 29 degrees Celsius.

Clear skies are anticipated throughout the day, as stated by the weather department.

However, the overall air quality index (AQI) across the city has deteriorated to ‘poor’ levels on Monday.

In the Ashok Vihar area at 8 a.m., PM 2.5 levels were measured at 244, falling under the ‘poor’ category, while PM 10 levels stood at 182, categorized as moderate, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

The Air Quality Index (AQI) categories range from ‘good’ (0-50) to ‘severe’ (401-500).

Chandani Chowk recorded PM 2.5 levels at 322, classified as ‘very poor’. Dwarka Sector 8 witnessed PM 10 levels at 414, categorized as ‘severe’, while PM 2.5 levels were at 303, also classified as ‘very poor’
