Bengaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Karnataka has stirred controversy by asserting that a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report confirms the chanting of pro-Pakistan slogans by supporters of a Congress leader.
On Monday, the party shared what it claimed to be an official FSL report via its official social media handle. According to the report, “To the limited extent of the question in this case, being whether it was ‘Nasir Saab Zindabad’ or ‘Pakistan Zindabad’, the above analysis indicates that it is highly probable to be ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.”
The document further elaborates on the analysis of the source video, concluding that it is unlikely to have been tampered with and that the phrase uttered ends with ‘Taan’, suggesting it corresponds more closely to ‘Pakistan Zindabad’.

As of now, there has been no response from FSL authorities regarding the BJP’s claims.
In response, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara have asserted that they have not received the FSL report.
