Shooting for Yash-Starrer ‘Toxic’ Set to Commence

Bengaluru: Preparations are underway for the commencement of the shoot for the highly anticipated film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups,’ featuring actor Yash in the lead role. Erecting grand sets and mobilizing technicians from across India’s film industries, the makers are gearing up for production in Karnataka. Co-produced by Venkat K. Narayana’s KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the film is slated to hit screens on April 10, 2025.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, renowned for ‘Liar’s Dice,’ the film is currently in post-production phase. While the exact shoot date remains undisclosed, the initial leg of filming will kick off in Karnataka.

Addressing the significance of shooting in Karnataka, the producers stated, “Yash has consistently voiced concerns about the lack of optimal filming facilities in our state. To address this, we are proud to announce the initiation of ‘Toxic’ shoot right here in Karnataka.”

They further emphasized the impact of this decision, highlighting the creation of job opportunities and avenues for local talent. “We aspire to craft a film with global appeal, harnessing the potential of Karnataka’s vibrant film industry,” they added.
