BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena Form Alliance for Andhra Pradesh Elections

Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Telugu Desam Party (TDP), and Jana Sena Party have come together to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. In a unified press statement, BJP President JP Nadda, TDP President N. Chandrababu Naidu, and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan emphasized that this alliance aims to fulfill the aspirations of the people of Andhra Pradesh. The statement also indicated that discussions on seat-sharing arrangements will be finalized within the next couple of days.

The collaboration between BJP and TDP has a longstanding history, dating back to TDP’s inclusion in the NDA alliance in 1996. Over the years, they have successfully collaborated during the tenures of Prime Ministers Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi. Notably, in 2014, TDP and BJP jointly contested both Lok Sabha and assembly elections.
