Harda: A devastating explosion at a firecracker factory in Madhya Pradesh’s Harda district on Tuesday resulted in the loss of at least 11 lives and left approximately 200 individuals injured, many of whom are in critical condition.
The owners of the factory were apprehended by the police in the evening, mere hours after the catastrophic incident unfolded.
The sheer intensity of the blast was captured in a chilling video, depicting debris striking individuals who were recording the scene, underscoring the chaotic aftermath of the explosion. Two young bystanders filming the incident on their mobile phones were seen fleeing, acknowledging their error in being present at the site.
The ensuing fire swiftly engulfed several nearby houses, necessitating a concerted effort by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and firefighters to contain the blaze after hours of relentless effort.
