Gmail Introduces Convenient Bulk Select Feature for Android and iOS Users

Google has launched a new bulk select feature in Gmail for Android and iOS users, streamlining email management for both Google Workspace customers and personal Google Account users.

In an official update, the company announced, “We’re introducing a feature that enables you to bulk select a batch of messages in the email thread-list with one tap using the Gmail app on Android and iOS devices.” Users can now efficiently perform actions such as deleting multiple messages or marking them as “read” by selecting a batch after clicking the select all icon.

The feature is currently available on Android devices and is in the process of rolling out to Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains on iOS devices, providing a seamless experience for users across platforms.

Moreover, Google has enhanced functionality within the Google Sheets app on iOS devices, allowing users to copy charts and paste them externally as images or within the same spreadsheet as a duplicate chart. Additionally, text formatting in Sheets can now be modified using the contextual toolbar when a keyboard is attached to iOS tablets.

This comprehensive update caters to both personal and professional users, contributing to a more user-friendly and efficient experience within the Gmail and Google Sheets apps. Google has also introduced a new category in the Marketplace named “Admin managed,” featuring Enterprise apps installable exclusively by a Google Workspace administrator for their organization.
