BJP to Organize Protest against Gehlot Government in Rajasthan on Tuesday

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced its plans to stage a protest against the Gehlot government in Rajasthan on Tuesday. Addressing the media at the party headquarters, BJP National General Secretary, Arun Singh, expressed grave concerns over the prevailing situation in the state.

Singh claimed that Rajasthan is witnessing a state of complete lawlessness, branding it as “jungle raj.” He cited a shocking figure of 21 incidents, including murder, kidnapping, and rape, all occurring within a mere 24 hours on July 28. The increasing number of such distressing events has prompted the BJP to take a strong stand against the current administration.

Highlighting the alarming rate of rape cases, Singh mentioned that on a daily basis, Rajasthan reports 17 to 18 incidents of this heinous crime. He emphasized that the safety of women is severely compromised, making the state rank first in the country for crimes against women. Additionally, he expressed concern about the escalating incidents of Dalit atrocities, placing Rajasthan in an unfortunate top spot for this category as well.

Singh criticized Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi for not meeting the victims affected by these incidents, questioning their commitment to addressing the pressing issues plaguing the state.

Another accusation leveled against the Congress-led government in Rajasthan is that of corruption. The BJP claims that the current administration has not taken adequate steps to tackle corruption effectively, further fueling public discontent.

Given the upcoming assembly elections later this year, it is likely that “corruption and law and order” will be major focal points for the BJP’s campaign against the Congress government in Rajasthan. The party aims to rally public support and garner attention to these critical issues, seeking a mandate for a more accountable and secure governance in the state.
