3 teenagers swept away in Yamuna in Delhi

New Delhi: Three teenagers, identified as Rishu (14), Shivam (13), and Rupesh (13), who were students of the same school, are still missing after being swept away by the Yamuna river in Delhi. The unfortunate incident occurred on Saturday afternoon when five children from Singh village decided to go for a bath in the river. Tragically, the strong current swept away three of them.

The two children who managed to reach the riverbank returned home without informing anyone about the incident. Concerned about their missing friends, the families of the three teenagers searched the entire neighborhood but could not find any trace of them. They eventually approached the police for help.

Around 10 a.m., the Boat Club and Fire Service divers were called in to initiate a rescue operation. Despite several hours of search and rescue efforts, the three missing children have not been located yet.

The situation remains tense and worrisome for the families and the community as everyone hopes for a successful recovery of the missing teenagers. The authorities are continuing their search and rescue efforts to find the teenagers and bring them back safely.
