Nuh: Three people were killed, and 60 others sustained injuries during a bout of violence in Nuh, as reported by the Deputy Commissioner. Among the injured, three were in critical condition. The casualties included two home guards affiliated with the Haryana Police and one civilian.

To address the situation, the Nuh administration took action by registering 16 FIRs and initiating the process of identifying the culprits, as informed by Panwar.

In response to the communal clashes that occurred on Monday, a meeting was convened on Tuesday, led by Nuh District Deputy Commissioner Prashant Panwar and acting Superintendent of Police Narendra Singh Bijarnia. The meeting aimed to foster dialogue and understanding between the conflicting parties to prevent such incidents in the future.

Both sides were encouraged to cooperate with the legal process, and the administration urged them to support the implementation of orders issued by the district administration. In an effort to maintain peace and harmony, a committee comprising 20 members from each community was formed to aid in enforcing the peace-building process.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the miscreants responsible for the violence would not escape justice, and they would be identified and punished accordingly. The district vowed to support the police and administration in their efforts to maintain peace.

Presently, the law and order situation is under control, with regular assessments conducted by higher officials to address the issue effectively. Strict actions will be taken against those involved in the violence.

To reinforce security, 20 companies of paramilitary forces and 20 police companies have been stationed at various locations within Nuh district. Additionally, the police conducted a flag march in the morning and planned another one in the evening to ensure compliance with Section-144, which has been enforced to maintain order.
